Workshop of natural agriculture with Kutluhan Özdemir at the Lake Montepulciano Nature Reserve
The Lake Montepulciano Nature Reserve hosts a laboratory of natural agriculture in collaboration with Il Bosco di Ogigia The workshop is scheduled for Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 April 2025, from 9 to 5:30 pm with the Turkish-Kurdish farmer Kutluhan Özdemir, who dedicates his life to spreading the philosophy and practice of natural agriculture according to the teachings of Masanobu Fukuoka. Özdemir has been practicing natural agriculture for the past nine years, first meeting direct students from Fukuoka during trips to South America, then living in the natural farm of Panos Manikis in Edessa, Greece, and now growing vegetables on his farm in Marche, in Italy. The theoretical part will take place at the Lake Montepulciano Nature Reserve, while the practical lesson will be held in the Il Bosco di Ogigia. The initiative is carried out by the collaboration between Network for Natural Agriculture (RAN), Ogigia Forest, Legambiente – Circle Earth and Peace APS/ Valdichiana and Treberte Association, with the sponsorship of the Municipality of Montepulciano.
